Return / Exchange Policy

General Merchandise:

Allen Design Gallery accepts returns if the item(s) are returned in their original condition and in their original packaging within 30 days of date of purchase. Upon receipt and verification of the returned item(s) we will refund the total purchase amount, minus original shipping and handling plus a 15% restocking fee. Return shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

There is no restocking fee if you would like to exchange an item for a Merchandise Credit. Merchandise Credit can be used to purchase merchandise or services of equal or greater value from Allen Design Gallery. No cash back will be awarded for a Merchandise Credit.

Please inspect all merchandise upon receipt. Any discrepancies must be reported immediately to returns@allendesigngallery.com or call (612) 743-4869.

Please return all merchandise with a copy of your receipt, packing slip and return authorization number.

Any merchandise returned without a return authorization number will be refused. To obtain a return authorization number please contact us at returns@allendesigngallery.com or call (612) 743-4869.

Original Art:

Original Art may not be returned unless it was damaged during shipment. All original artwork is insured when shipped. If your package arrives and it was obviously damaged during shipping do not open it. Please contact us immediately at returns@allendesigngallery.com or call (612) 743-4869. The shipping agent will need to inspect the package. A full refund will be issued within 30 days upon a positive verification from the shipping agent that the damage was caused during transit. When returning an original, please contact us and we will arrange the return shipment or give you shipping instructions.

Shipping Policies

General Shipping:

Allen Design Gallery ships regular purchases via Fed Ex or USPS. If you would like to ship via another carrier please contact us. Shipping insurance is not included. If you would like to insure your shipment please contact us.

Original Works of Art can NOT be shipped insured through Fed Ex. Fed Ex only insures items up to $500. ALL Original Works of Art are excluded from Fed Ex insurance. We will ship Original Works though Fed Ex if you choose. Original Works of Art shipped though Fed Ex will NOT be guaranteed in any way by Allen Design Gallery. All sales of Original Works of Art are final and no damage claims can be made if you choose to use any shipper other our recommended shipper.

Shipping Original Works of Art (In the Twin Cites Area):

Allen Design Gallery offers home and business delivery service in the Twin Cities. Delivery charges will be billed separately at the time of delivery setup. Our standard delivery usually takes about a week. Rush Delivery is available. Delivery charges are taxable in the state of MN. Check our special offers section on our website (we often have promotional codes there for discounted or even free delivery in the Twin Cities area). Our delivery charges are as follows:

$25 standard delivery
$50 oversized or rush delivery

We will call to set up a 2 hour delivery window the day before you scheduled delivery. We will also call before we arrive to let you know when we�re on our way.

Shipping Original Works of Art (Outside the Twin Cites Area):

Please contact us to set up or get a quote for the shipping of any Original Works of Art.

Crating, shipping and insurance will be billed separately (upon your approval) from your purchase of any Original Work of Art at www.AllenDesignGallery.com or www.shopADG.com .

Allen Design Gallery recommends shipping Original Works of Art via Craters and Freighters located in Edina, MN. You may contact Craters and Freighters yourself to get a quote or you may contact us to get an accurate quote and arrange shipment for you. If you choose to contact Craters and Freighters yourself be sure to tell them that we will deliver the artwork to them and that you do NOT require pickup. (This will save you about $40!) You may choose corrugated or wood crating. Their corrugated crating is less expensive and can protect your purchase even handled by forklift. Allen Design Gallery will have your artwork packed in a corrugated crate unless you specify otherwise. All Original Works of Art crated and shipped through Craters and Freighters can be fully insured for the purchase price and is guaranteed by Allen Design Gallery to arrive safely. In the unlikely event that an insured Original Work of Art shipped through Craters and Freighters arrives and appears to have been damaged in shipping DO NOT open it. Please contact us and we will give you instructions.

Allen Design Gallery will not attempt to ship Original Works of Art through UPS.

Original Works of Art can NOT be shipped insured through Fed Ex. Fed Ex Express only allows a declared value of Art up to $500. They will NOT insure Original Works of Art. Fed Ex Ground will only allow a declared value of $100 (see #10 section D item #1). http://fedex.com/us/services/terms/groundtariff_main.html . Original Works of Art are excluded from Fed Ex insurance. We will ship Original Works Art though Fed Ex if you choose. If you choose to ship through Fed Ex you will still be charged an additional fee by Allen Design Gallery for the cost of having your purchase crated for shipment. We will provide you with a crating quote with your Fed Ex shipping quote. All Original Works of Art shipped though Fed Ex will be crated at Craters and Freighters located in Edina, MN. All Original Works of Art shipped though Fed Ex will NOT be guaranteed in any way by Allen Design Gallery. All sales of Original Works of Art are final and no damage claims can be made if you choose to use any shipper other our recommended shipper - Craters and Freighters located in Edina, MN.

All Original Works of Art shipped though our recommended shipper - Craters and Freighters located in Edina, MN will be shipped fully insured for the purchase price. Contact Craters and Freighters for more information regarding their comprehensive coverage.
